Microneedling (SkinPen)
Microneedling, also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a treatment that uses a device to create tiny holes in the skin to stimulate your body’s natural healing process. In turn, you can expect a boost in collagen production and an improvement in texture, fine lines, and acne scarring. Topical numbing cream ensures a comfortable treatment and expected down time is 24-72 hours of redness. Makeup can be worn the following day.
Microneedling results can be further enhanced with the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP) to further stimulate collagen production and reduce healing time. The PRP is applied to the skin throughout the Microneedling process and is absorbed through the micro channels. As a courtesy we also offer complementary re-injection to problem areas if desired for an added PRP boost.
